OwnerRez/VRBO Quirk for New Properties Add
How to import VRBO Commission Charges into OwnerRez
Reporting Income if using Avalara
Brief demonstration of how to report your taxable income to Avalara (My Lodge Tax) if using them or thinking of using them.
In OwnerRez go to reports ~ under detail reports ~ go to taxes
Click on include bookings with no charges
Under Group By click listing sites
You will see your taxable income and number of nights. You will enter those in the Avalara dashboard. Submit and you’ll see the total cost.
What I didn’t state on the video is we have 3 different taxes that have to be reported so its easier for us to use Avalara to report for us. We just list our income and they report on our behalf.
Now to make sure the total matches ~ go to reports ~ detail reports ~ my favorite report ~ line item pivot and click group by listing site and you’ll see the total taxes amount added together.
Thanks for watching!
