Rental Agreement

Pre-Arrival

Thank you for choosing my home for your upcoming vacation to {PDISPNAME}. I know you have many choices and I am honored that you chose mine. I’m {MYFIRST}, your hostess.

Please read arrival instructions very carefully before your arrival.

Arrival and check in is stress free.

Check in is {PCHECKIN}. and check out is {PCHECKOUT}. SHARP. Please adhere to these times as my housekeeper could have several homes to clean and is on a tight schedule.

My property is a strict NO SMOKING and NO PET home. Smoking is allowed on the deck. There is a butt bucket on the porch. Please do NOT throw butts off the deck. If you have a furry family member, please make arrangements for it before your arrival.

The address is {PADDRS}.

Door Code: {PDOORCODE} *****This will vary depending on what lock you have. 

WIFI: Network is {PWIFINAME} and your password is {PWIFIPASS}. 

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions that you might have before or during your stay.

Door Code - Schlage Encode using Remote Lock

We send this out the day of arrival at 1:00 pm. But several people will send 1 day prior to arrival. 

Hi {CFIRST},

When you get to {PDISPNAME}, {PADDRS} there’s a special door lock that gets you inside.

Your access code is: {BDOORCODE} and  {PCHECKIN} The door lock won’t work until after your check-in time. 

Follow the below instructions to know how to operate the door lock.  Print this email and take it with you!

Note: Press the “Schlage” oval button at the top of the lock to turn on the keypad back-light if necessary.

USING THE 4-DIGIT ACCESS CODE TO UNLOCK

1) If it’s dark outside, press the “Schlage” button at the top which will temporarily light up the keypad so that you can see.

2) Enter your code into the keypad.

3) After hearing the ascending tone and while the  “Schlage” button is  flashing green, turn the lever within 5 seconds to unlock the door.

4)  Door will automatically re-lock behind you.    

5) To set the door to stay unlocked, rotate the inside thumb-turn to the vertical position.

It’s that simple!  If you have any trouble, give us a ring, or reply to this email.

Check Out Instructions

We send this out the day before departure at 5:00 pm. 

Hi {CFIRST},

I hope that you are having an excellent stay so far at {PDISPNAME}! I would like to remind you that check-out time is by {PCHECKOUT} unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Our cleaning services will arrive by 11:15 a.m. to clean for our next check-in. If you are checking out on a Thursday morning, please bring trash cans to the front pavement on Wednesday night. Please leave all slept-in beds unmade and leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom.

Hi {CFIRST},

I hope that you are having an excellent stay so far at {PDISPNAME}! I would like to remind you that check-out time is by {PCHECKOUT}. We do our best to accommodate late check-outs but it’s not always possible. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to check out later.

Our house is professionally cleaned at each checkout but if you could please help with the below it is greatly appreciated:

  1. Ensure Trash from Bathrooms is put in the main Kitchen Trash and Trash Emptied to the trash containers outside the double back gate of the backyard.
  2. All dishes are placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher is turned on for cleaning.
  3. All lights and Heat/AC is turned off.
  4. Signed out of All apps on TVs such as Netflix / HBO / Hulu and the such.
  5. All beds and towels are stripped and placed by the laundry room.
  6. Check under chairs and beds to make sure nothing has been left.
  7. If had access to a key during your stay please return to the back door lockbox.
